ICT4CART’s goal is to implement and test a standards-based distributed IT environment for data aggregation, capable of collecting and managing in an automated and interoperable way all the exchanged data regarding the driver, the vehicle, the vulnerable road users (VRUs) and the infrastructure, leveraging also cloud technology. This will enable the ICT4CART data aggregation system to guarantee the authenticity of the collected data, without compromising the privacy of the vehicles who contributed. Particular attention will be paid to the specification of the data flows between these architectures (driver data, vehicle, journeys, etc.). This includes the functional and technical requirements pertaining to data collection, exchange, management, storage, and retrieval.
